The best way to request
a photo is to use the stock photo order
form, which makes it easy to enter all of the information needed to
place an order.
If you prefer not to use the stock photo order form, then you can send an email to me at this address:
(note: to
cut down on junk email, this email address is actually an image - it can't
be copied and pasted, it has to be manually typed in)
It's not possible
to provide a price for the stock photographs on the website because there
are so many of them and they're priced using a complex formula with many
variables. The questions on the stock photo order form provides
the information needed to determine the appropriate price, so if all of
the information is provided then you should quickly receive a response
with a fixed price.
print run
The print run is simply the number of books, magazines or other type of publication which
will be printed. If you want to print 5,000 books then the
size of the print run is 5,000; if you want to print a single billboard
then set the print run to 1.
exclusivity
There are several types of exclusivity:
number of uses
The "number of uses" of a photo means how many products you want to use it in. The
most common choice is "single use", which means that you can use it in
a book or other product and nothing else. If you want to use
it in more than one product, for instance, two different magazines, two
issues of the same magazine, or a magazine and a billboard, then you need
to choose "multiple use" (see instructions below for ordering
for multiple uses).
Your email address, and any other contact information which you give, will only ever be used to send information to you about stock photography orders which you have requested. No promotional material will ever be sent to you.
None of your contact details will ever be sold or given away to third parties, published on
the internet or misused in any way.
To order for multiple uses, simply fill in the stock photo order form more than once. A multiple use price, which is usually lower than several single use prices, will automatically be given.
